Short CV of Dionyssios Perdikis

Dionyssios Perdikis is a Research Entomologist at the Laboratory of Agricultural Zoology and Entomology in the Agricultural University of Athens (Greece). He got his PhD in 2000, studying the biological parameters of an omnivorous predator. His research interests are focused on biological and integrated control of pests in vegetable and olive crops. His main research objectives are the food preferences, omnivory, life table and conservation of predators and parasitoids, as well as the biology, damage assessment and natural enemies of insect pests.

He has attended a number of IOBC meetings. He was the local organizer of one and member of the organizing committees of two IOBC-WPRS meetings. He has actively participated in the IOBC-WPRS WG: "Integrated Control of Olive Crops" since 2003, and became its convenor in 2009.
