Pasquale Trematerra is Full Professor in General and Applied Entomology disciplines at the Department of Agriculture, Environmental and Food Sciences, University of Molise, Campobasso (Italy). He is member of permanent commitee of the International Working Conference on Stored Products Protection; member of Italian advisor commitee for biocide registration; member of Italian network for the research in organic farming and board of Ministerial commitee on biological agriculture. Vice President of Italian Association for Plant Protection.
Research addressess: biology and ecology of insect pests; application of new methods in the control of insect pests; integrated pest management of insect pests in orchards; research about stored product pests and stored product protection; research on urban pests; faunistc and systematic studies of Lepidoptera Tortricidae. Publications: wrote 6 books and about 450 papers; he has described 63 new tortricids species. Pasquale is an Editorial Board member of the Archives of Phytopathology and Plant Protection; Bulletin of Entomological Research; Crop Protection; Entomology, Ornithology & Herpetology; Frontiers in Chemical Ecology; Journal of Applied Entomology; Journal of Entomological and Acarological Research; Journal of Stored Products Research.
