Short CV of Pasquale Trematerra
Pasquale Trematerra is Full Professor in General and Applied Entomology disciplines at the Department of Agriculture, Environmental and Food Sciences, University of Molise, Campobasso (Italy). He is member of permanent commitee of the International Working Conference on Stored Products Protection; member of Italian advisor commitee for biocide registration; member of Italian network for the research in organic farming and board of Ministerial commitee on biological agriculture.
Research addressess: biology and ecology of insect pests; application of new methods in the control of insect pests; integrated pest management of insect pests in orchards; research about stored product pests and stored product protection; research on urban pests; faunistc and systematic studies of Lepidoptera Tortricidae. Publications: wrote 4 books and about 380 papers; he has described 56 new tortricids species. Pasquale is an Editorial Board member of the Entomologia, Frontiers in Chemical Ecology, Journal of Applied Entomology, Journal of Entomological and Acarological Research, Journal of Stored Products Research.
He joined the IOBC-WPRS in 1986 (WG: Pheromones and other semio-chemicals in integrated production; Integrated protection of fruit crops; Integrated protection of stored products).
