The prevention and/or suppression of key pests and diseases should be supported among other options, especially by:

• Work with clean harvest machinery, to minimize the risk of spreading soil borne diseases like Rhizomania and nematodes.
• Soil residues from cleaning of machinery should be brought back to the site where it comes from or properly disinfected.
