Animal pests

For the control of Corn borers and Cotton ball worm, only biological agents (e.g. Trichogramma, B. thuringiensis biopesticide); insecticides classified “yellow” or “green” in the IOBC-WPRS Pesticide Side Effect Database must be used in accordance with threshold levels.

Other maize pests may be controlled in exceptional circumstances according to threshold levels.
