Pests
Control of Colorado Beetle/aphids (where established) must only be carried out according to threshold levels or national law.
Insecticides classified “yellow” or “green” in IOBC Pesticide Side Effect Database must be used in accordance with threshold levels
No nematicides are allowed.
Diseases
Copper must not be use.
For Rhizoctonia, seed treatment is only permitted if threshold levels for tubers with sclerotia of R. solani are exceeded.
Weeds
No chemical herbicide can be applied before planting.
Preference for mechanical haulm killing (canopy removal).
