Available selective aphicides must be used instead of broad-spectrum products and applied according to national/regional recommendations.

For seed potatoes seed treatment against aphids and leafhoppers may be used in situations of high infestation pressure

No nematicides are allowed. 
Nematodes: In nematode-infested fields, only cultivars with resistance to the species/pathotype present.

Diseases

Copper use is not allowed.

Mechanical control prior to planting.
