The IPM in the XXI century: new tools, tactics and strategies to improve sustainability from old and new pests and diseases

Following the success and the positive feedback received past meetings, we are confirming the ongoing collaboration between the two working groups. The joint meeting was scheduled for September 2020, but because of the global pandemic COVID_19, it was postponed to 2022. At present, risk mitigation procedure are making it more feasible to have a meeting in 2022. For this reason, we are convinced that we can start again to meet in person of course, using all the necessary security measures.
The theme of the conference will be “The IPM in the XXI century: new tools, tactics and strategies to improve sustainability from old and new pests and diseases”. On the behalf of IOBC and the organizing committee, we would like to invite you to Girona to actively participate, and share the results of your work. The meeting will bring together people involved both in the study of Semiochemicals and in Integrated Fruit Production, with the aim of sharing the latest research and technological advances that can help in the control of harmful agents, both indigenous and invasive. It offers a space for the exchange of information and ideas, and provides the opportunity to cement old association and establish exciting new collaborations between the different participating groups.
English will be the official language of the meeting. Proceedings with all contributions, both oral and poster presentations will published as full papers or extended abstracts in the IOBC-WPRS Bulletin.
