Hanna FRIBERG

Hanna Friberg is appointed as Docent (Associate Professor) at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden. She is interested in the ecology of plant pathogenic fungi, especially how they interact with other organisms in their environment. Her research is within the field of plant pathology and sustainable crop protection. Teaching is an important part of her work, especially in courses for agronomy students. Many of the research questions she works with are of an interdisciplinary nature, making collaborations with scientists from other areas crucial for her work. A close collaboration with stakeholders outside of research is also a central part in her research.

She was member of organizing committee for the 5th meeting of the IOBC-WPRS Working Group “Multitrophic interactions in soil”, Uppsala, Sweden, June 2009 and active in many other IOBC-WPRS meetings. In 2021 she was elected as IOBC-WPRS Council Member.
