Dr. Garrido-Jurado, Professor in the research group AGR 163 “Entomologia Agrícola” of the University of Cordoba (UCO, Spain), has 19 years research experience in insect pathology. She has published 57 refereed papers in JCR journals in the field (h-index=21; ORCID: 0000-0002-2178-0013), several book chapters, and articles for growers and the public on the agricultural and biotechnological relevance of entomopathogenic fungi (EPF). She got a prestigious Juan de la Cierva-Incorporación funded by the Spanish Government in 2017 and performed two postdoctoral stays (Swansea University and Imperial College of London with Prof. Tariq Butt and Dr. Ioly Kotta-Louzio, respectively). Dr. Garrido-Jurado is effectively managing competitive National and Regional projects and has participated in several National, European, and Regional projects. She has 5 national and international awards related to the olive fly control with EPF. She has supervised 11, 15 and 4 undergraduate, master and PhD students respectively. She has produced 100 contributed and invited presentations at national and international meetings. She has organized a Workshop in the 14th IOBC-WPRS “Insect Pathogens and Entomopathogenic Nematodes” (Zagreb, Croatia) in 2013. She is reviewer for 20 JCR-indexed journals (D1, Q1 and Q2). She was associate editor of Insects (JCR, Q1 in Entomology) and Spanish Journal of Agricultural Research (JCR Q2 in Agronomy and Crop Protection). Dr. Garrido-Jurado is Vice-Dean of Student, Quality and Enterprise Relationships of the Agricultural Engineering of the School of Agricultural Engineers (ETSIAM), member of the Quality Commission of the Degree and Master of the ETSIAM of UCO, of the Master in Olive Growing and Oil Technology and the Doctorate program. She was also member of the Equality and Monitoring of Strategic Plan Commissions of the Unit of Excellence “María de Maeztu” (DAUCO) and coordinator of the Master in Agricultural Engineering of UCO.
