Ivan JURAN

Ivan Juran is an associate professor at University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture (Croatia), where he has worked since 2009. He obtained his Master’s degree (2008) and PhD (2015) in Plant Protection (Entomology). His main interests are ecological approaches and alternative methods in pest control in oilseeds, pests of vegetable crops, decision support systems in pest control and new technologies for pesticide application. Ivan has been involved in several national and international projects and participated in numerous national and international scientific and expert meetings.

He has been a member of IOBC-WPRS since 2011 and participated in the working groups „Integrated Control in Oilseed Crops“ and „Microbial and Nematode Control of Invertebrate Pests“. He was the local organiser of the 17th biannual meeting of the Working Group „Integrated Control in Oilseed Crops“ held in Zagreb (Croatia) in 2018.
