Abstract: Bacillus thuringiensis is famous as an insecticide, but in recent years, antifungal activity has attracted attention. In this research, we focused on the difference in antifungal activity between vegetative cells and endospores to identify substances with antifungal activity. Focusing on the strong antifungal activity of endospores, we searched for genes with higher expression in endospores by transcriptome analysis. As a result, 55 genes whose expression level was more than 100 times higher in endospores were found.
