Description
Abstract: Examination of the dynamics of the phylloplane yeast populations revealed immaturefruits showed significantly larger populations than mature fruits or leaves. The dominant yeastsbelong to the genera Cryptococcus, Rhodotorula, as well as Sporobolomyces and showedresistance to the two major fungicides applied to strawberry cultures. This suggests potential useof phylloplane yeasts in the integrated control of fungal diseases in strawberry.
