Abstract: The efficacy of Gliocladium catenulatum to colonise soils and to reduce Fusarium graminearum growth was evaluated under both microcosm and field conditions. We gave evidence that G. catenulatum has competitive advantages over F. graminearum in soils. However, its efficacy is reduced when confronted to the soil native microbiota.
