Abstract: The biotype of the citrus nematode (Tylenchulus semipenetrans) from Morocco, was determined using differential hosts, namely, grape (Vitis vinifera), (Citrange troyer),orange (Citrus aurantium L) and olive (Olea europaea). The study was conducted undergreenhouse conditions with 5 replicates. Nematodes from the regions of Gharb, SousMasssa, Haouz, Loukkos and Moulouia were extracted from roots and inoculated with10.000 eggs and juveniles per plant. Reproductive factors were less than one for Poncirustrifoliate and olive for all populations. The results of differential-host experiments revealedthat all five T. semipenetrans populations belong to the Mediterranean biotype.
