Molecular taxonomic characterization of Bacillus thuringiensis isolates from Kazakhstan

 0.00

Abstract: The molecular taxonomy of a set of Bacillus thuringiensis isolates stemming from different sources and locations in Kazakhstan has been investigated. Within the Bacillus cereus sensu lato complex, most isolates were assigned to the B. thuringiensis lineages “Bt kurstaki/ tolworthi” or “Bt sotto/thuringiensis” when using the pycA gene encoding pyruvate carboxylase for phylogenetic reconstruction.
