POSTER: The impact of insecticides application on larvae of pollen beetles (Brassicogethes Audisio & Cline, 2009)

 5.00

Abstract: The application of insecticides to eliminate pests on oilseed rape can affect the
activity of pollen beetle adults or their larvae and the level of larval parasitism. Insecticides
applied during the flowering period of oilseed rape have the greatest potential to threaten
parasitoid populations. The knowledge gained from field studies can be used to mitigate the
negative impacts on the natural enemies of oilseed rape pests and to verify the effectiveness in reducing the populations of pollen beetle larvae in the long term.
