The why, what and how of video abstracts

Abstract: Video abstracts (VAs) are media versions of academic papers’ written abstracts that
offer a novel way to communicate research, especially, to audiences that you might not
normally reach. This conference paper offers a workflow for creating VAs presented in the
context of current academic and digital media conditions.
