Abstract: Fragments derived from plant cell wall xyloglucans induce Arabidopsis thaliana defence responses and protection against Botrytis cinerea. Xyloglucan-triggered immunity against B. cinerea requires the phytoalexin, ethylene and jasmonic acid-dependent pathways.
