Abstract: This project proposes a dual-approach strategy for achieving zero pest damage in
agriculture by 2050. The framework integrates high-precision physical control via
semiconductor lasers with advanced biological control strategies. Currently, a particular focus
is placed on augmentative biological control using genetically improved biocontrol agents. By
combining these proactive releases with supplementary conservation measures, we aim to
establish a resilient pest management system that eliminates the need for synthetic chemical
pesticides.
