Joint approaches for sustainable weed management
New advances in weed science are oriented towards achieving a balance between crop production and sustainability. In this sense, weed science research at the European level is informed by the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy and is increasingly focused on the integration of new tools, methods and strategies for an improved weed management. This situation could be defined by the congress motto: Joint approaches for sustainable weed management.
Advances in weed science in Europe will be presented on the upcoming EWRS Symposium that will take place in Lleida (Catalonia, Spain) in 2025.
