Dear members of the IOBC-WPRS,
The IOBC-WPRS Executive Committee has decided to hold a short, extraordinary General Assembly online, in the course of the Council Convenor Meeting in November this year. All members with functions as convenors or council members will be there at the CC-Meeting anyway, and all additional members of IOBC-WPRS will have the chance to participate and vote online.
The GA will take place online on Thursday, November 9th, 2023, 14:00 – 15:00 CET.
There will be only one agenda point, vote on the changes of the IOBC-WPRS statutes. I will explain all the necessary changes and we will vote immediately after that. The modified statutes, with modifications clearly marked, will be sent out to all of you several weeks before the meeting, so that everyone has a chance to go through the changes and check thoroughly. Detailed information, e.g., on access to the online meeting, and on the voting procedure, will be sent out together with the modified statutes.
I would like to ask you to save the date, and participate in this GA and make use of your right to vote!
