Abstract: Beauveria bassiana secretes a broad range of low molecular weight metabolites, somewhich are referred as relevant toxins. In submerged culture five selected endophytic B. bassianaisolates excreted more than 20mmol l-1 oxalate but not the secondary metabolite oosporein.Compared to the quantities of oxalate normally detected in plant tissues or in the environment itcan be concluded, that there are no risk to humans, plants and the environment.
