Induction of resistance in wheat against leaf rust by application of biotic and abiotic inducers

Abstract: The exogenous application of β-Aminobutyric acid (BABA) as a soil drench reduced brown rust efficiently. Seed dressing with Pseudomonas protegens CHA0 reduced the number of sporulating pustules on the leave significantly. The induction of resistance was visible as necrotic or chlorotic flecks.
