Abstract: An entomological survey was conducted in three olive groves, located in the north, centre and south of Portugal (Mirandela, Abrantes and Serpa regions), from 2017 to 2019. The main objective was to detect Xylella fastidiosa vectors and potential vectors. Two competent vectors were found: Philaenus spumarius and Neophilaenus campestris. Potential vectors detected were: Philaenus tesselatus and Lepyronia coleoptrata. Additionally, a list other identified Auchenorrhyncha (Cicadomorpha) species is presented, constituting a contribution for a better knowledge of this taxonomic group presence in the country.
