Plant produced β-aminobutyric acid (BABA): the immune system controls its accumulation

 0.00

Abstract: Endogenous β-aminobutyric acid (BABA) levels increase after the molecular recognition of pathogen presence. BABA is accumulated differently during resistance or susceptibility to disease. The Arabidopsis mutant constitutive expresser of pathogenesis-related genes 5 (cpr5) constitutively produces high basal levels of BABA.
