Abstract: A preliminary study on the Braconid population present in two vineyards, conductedwith different pest management systems was carried out in 2011. Insects were captured bymalaise traps and grouped at the subfamily level for the elaboration with Anosym and MDSmultivariate statistical analysis. Results show significant differences in the two contexts, andsuggest a strong impact of the pest management system on Braconid populations. We suggest thatBraconids can be used as potential bioindicators to evaluate different strategies of vineyardmanagement.
