Teaching citrus growers to use IPM for citrus via the internet

Abstract: The premise of this study is that it is possible to reduce the use of pesticide and affected propagative material by publishing IPM for citrus posts and videos on the Internet that demonstrate and encourage the IPM approach, and decrease old Citrus Tristeza Virus affected sour orange/sweet orange trees. The posts are designed to rank high in Tweeter and Facebook results. Significant increases in both the number of people with the amount of new citrange/sweet orange ordered have shown that this approach succeeds in convincing citrus growers to use new trees and adopting new IPM approach.
